The April 2012 Nairobi National Park game counts were held on 1st April 2012 and the following game was observed and recorded. The total for each species include young ones, sub-adults and adults males and females:
Buffalo 156, Bushbuck 14, Black Rhino 14, White Rhino 11, Grants Gazelle 49, Masaai Giraffe 80, Coke’s Hartebeest 518, Waterbuck 27, Wildebeest 211, Warthog 25, Impala 768, Crocodile 1, Kori Bustard 1, Spotted Hyena 2, Dik Dik 16, Aardwolf 1, Bohor Reedbuck 5, Sykes Monkey 7, Kori Bustard 5, Heuglin’s Bustard 3, Ground Squirrel 1, Secretary Bird 3, Eland 87, Burchell’s Zebra 1082, T. Gazelle 149, Vervet Monkey 13, Ostrich 58, Lion 18, White B. Bustard 5, Helmeted G. Fowl 51, Silver backed Jackal 6, Baboons 71, Leopard 2, Grey Crowned Crane 4, Common Duiker 3, Rock Hyrax 4, Suni 9, Yellow Necked Spur-fowl 10, Hartlaub’s Bustard 2
